A group of men threatened a victim and demanded his mobile phone during an attempted robbery in Banbury, police have said.
The group followed the man and a woman he was with as they left the town centre before approaching the pair in Alma Road.
They demanded the man’s phone and made threats, according to Thames Valley Police.

The force has released a CCTV image of two men wanted for questioning over the altercation at 9pm on October 10.
Investigating officer DC Sophie Smith said: “We would like to appeal to anyone who recognises the individuals in this image to please get in touch as they may have vital information about the incident.
“You can get in touch by either making a report online or by calling us on 101, quoting reference number 43230456379.
“Alternatively, for 100 per cent anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
