It might have been muddy under foot but West Oxfordshire bonfire night displays still went off with a bang.
After days of heavy rain, the crowds turned out for a spectacular firework display above North Leigh Football Club with music, a fully stocked bar and plenty of food.
Meanwhile Bampton saw a huge turnout for a spectacular firework display, live music, a BBQ, a bar offering warming mulled wine, a candy floss stall and Halloween glow sticks.
The event was organised by the Bampton charity SPAJERS (Society for the Preservation of Ancient Junketing) which supports pensioners in the village and has been running traditional events to raise funds for over 60 years.
Committee member Nick Holmes said: “This was a terrific team effort from the SPAJERS committee and other volunteers on the night.
"It was truly heart-warming to see the community come together and enjoy a wonderful night out."
