A charity is asking people to donate coats they no longer need to make a difference to the homeless and vulnerable during winter.
Wrap Up is a yearly national project where Rotary Clubs collect coats for charities that support people in the UK to keep warm in winter.
Any unwanted coats that are in good condition, heavy or light, men’s or women’s, teenagers or children’s, gilets and hoodies are wanted.
Last year Witney Rotary donated all 70 donated items Oxford homeless charity Emmaus.
This year the coats will first be offered to needy refugees before being passed on to Emmaus Oxford for distribution.
In 2021, over 21,600 garments were donated nationally and given to the homeless and needy.

Other collection points in and around Witney are at: Carterton Town Council offices, Congregational Church, Witney, Ducklington Parish Church and Church Hall, Hanborough Methodist Church, Witney High Street Methodist Church, Our Lady RC Church and Witney Town Council offices.
