Plans for new homes have been given the go ahead in Wallingford despite the fears of neighbours.
The appearance, landscaping, and layout of 234 homes in the town was approved by planning authority South Oxfordshire District Council on Friday (November 3).
The homes will be part of the 555-home Highcroft estate, a development to the west of the town off Wantage Road which was originally approved in October 2017.

There were 36 objections made by neighbours in the public consultation.
Concerns included a loss of privacy and daylight, homes looking over the busy Wantage Road, and the lack of car parking and trees.
But council planning officers said the developer, Carter Jonas, had “responded positively and proactively” to the comments from residents.
The council’s planning committee approved the plans, with the condition that development should begin within the next three years.
