A path has been closed off by the city council due to heavy rainfall being brought in by Storm Ciaran.
Oxford City Council announced on Friday morning that the towpath from Fiddler's Island towards Botley Road has been closed as a result of the "impact of Storm Ciaran and the predicted rainfall tomorrow".
A statement issued by the authority warned people to be careful and to find an alternative route if walking in that direction.

It said: "Floodwater can make it impossible to determine where the edge of the towpath is, which makes the towpaths extremely dangerous.
"Please do not attempt to enter flood water - find an alternative route."
Firework displays at Ardington & Lockinge Sports Club and Grove Rugby Club have been postponed this weekend as a result of the wet weather.
