Councillor Lubna Arshad, Lord Mayor of Oxford, said: “I want to highlight the importance of annually observing Remembrance Sunday in honour of those who sacrificed their lives in past conflicts for the preservation of our freedoms. We must make sustained efforts in fostering harmony among our diverse communities and stress the imperative of global solidarity.”
