The fireworks are set off from 7.15pm, followed by the lighting of the bonfire, constructed by Round Table members and volunteers.
Christian Petersen, chair of trustees at Oxford Round Table, said: "We are praying for a break in the weather on Saturday night.
"Even if the weather is not great we still need people's support.
"This fireworks display is a great tradition and we need people to buy tickets - their money will go to local good causes.
"Over the years more than £1m has been donated to local good causes from the proceeds of the display."
For adults (person 18+) tickets cost £12 and for children (17 or less): tickets cost £6.
There are no on-gate discounts available, organisers have warned.
Mr Petersen added: "The aim is to give families of Oxford a spectacular night out.

"We are spending two days building the bonfire and when it goes up it's a really spectacular sight.
"When it goes up it brings a warm glow to the park - it's a really good night out.
"People look for a break in the weather and then decide to come along.
"It does look like the weather will be kind to us from Saturday afternoon onwards, so we are hoping for a big attendance."
As well as Hebborns Fun Fair, there is also a bar, a catering village and a family tent.
