A teenage boy has been missing from Oxford for over a week as police concerns grow over his whereabouts.

Majed, aged 17, was last seen nine days ago on Monday, October 23 in Oxford.

He is described by police as being around 5ft 10in, of medium build and he typically wears a chain necklace.

Majed, whose surname has not been disclosed, has links to London and Manchester, Thames Valley Police has said.

A spokesman for the force said: "If you see Majed, please call 999. If you have any information on his whereabouts please 101 quoting the reference number 43230477572 or report it online.

"Please share this appeal widely."

The appeal was issued by the force on Wednesday morning.
