Former chief advisor to Boris Johnson, Dominic Cummings, and Lee Cain, the former Number 10 director of communications, will appear at the Covid-19 inquiry today (October 31).
Mr Cummings was a key figure in Downing Street throughout the Government’s early response to the pandemic and he will give evidence on Tuesday as the investigation continues.
He was asked by Boris Johnson to leave the government in November 2020, months after it emerged he had taken a trip to County Durham with his family despite the government instructing people to stay at home.
