Families took a trip in locomotive history for the final steam days of the year at Didcot Railway Centre last weekend.
The centre once more showcased a range of historic engines on Saturday and Sunday (October 28 and 29), with those in attendance eager to explore the golden age of Great Western Railway.
Steam Days at the centre allow visitors to see and ride trains on demonstration lines, learn how trains have been designed and controlled since the Victorian era and explore the 21 acre living museum which hosts trains over a century old.
Steam Days have now finished for the year. With the exception of New Year's Day, they will return on Saturday, February 10 and Sunday, February 11 in 2024, followed by three separate dates the following week.
