Dog walkers have raised concerns about plans for 18 dwellings which will be decided on by councillors next week.
Malvern Homes want to build 10 homes and eight flats in a field to the rear of Gracewell of Adderbury nursing home in Adderbury, a village near Banbury.
Cherwell District Council’s planning committee will decide whether to approve the full application at a meeting on Thursday (November 2).

As part of a public consultation on the plans, fears were raised about the loss of an field used by dog walkers.
Some people also claimed the development would be disruptive to elderly residents in the care home.
The developers’ planning agents said: “It is considered that the proposed development aligns with the Local Plan and NPPF, and therefore should be approved without delay.”
