The Environment Agency has warned that flooding is possible in areas of the Cotswolds and south Oxfordshire.
A flood alert has been issued by the Environment Agency after officers informed of rising river and tidal levels.
The flood alert areas include the River Evenlode from Moreton in marsh to Cassington, encompassing Kingham, Milton-under-Wychwood, Shipton-under-Wychwood, Ascott-under-Wychwood, Charlbury, Fawler and Long Hanborough.

The alerts also include the River Thame from Marsworth to Dorchester, including Thame, Wheatley, Drayton St. Leonard, Overy and the Chalgrove Brook at Chalgrove and Stadhampton. A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: “Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Avoid using low lying footpaths or entering areas prone to flooding.
“Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.”
According to the UK government’s Check for Flooding site, a flood warning means you need to act.
