Another car park in Oxford is driving away coins and banknotes as it becomes the latest to go cashless under city council schemes.
The Headington car park, which offers 116 vehicle parking spaces, will cease to take cash payments from October 30.
This comes following the council's approval in February 2021 to move to going cashless for all its services.

Councillor Louise Upton, cabinet member for Planning and Healthier Communities, said: "Most users already pay for parking by card at the pay machine, through our pay-phone provider RingGo, or through Hozah the automatic payment provider.
"It makes good economic sense then as a way for the Council to reduce its administrative costs whilst not causing inconvenience to users.”
Once the cash-accepting facility is removed, payment at the car park's machines will be possible using debit or credit cards through the pay-phone provider RingGo or via Hozah, the automatic payment provider.
Work has been ongoing to complete the eradication of cash payments across council services.
The council says a change to a cashless system across all car parks would see an annual saving of around £12,000.
Ms Upton added: "The City Council has been successfully changing its car parks to cashless operation for over a year.
"All of those in the city centre are now cashless and we have started to change those that are in our district centres to cashless operation."
