A Staffordshire bull terrier involved in a park attack remains in police kennels as investigations continue.

The seized dog attacked a border collie at Smallbone Recreation Ground in Didcot on September 27 at around 10:30am leaving four people injured.

Two men and a woman in their 50s and a man in his 20s were injured from the attack with one of the men in his 50s and the woman requiring hospital treatment.

Police have confirmed the Staffordshire bull terrier remains in the force’s kennels as officers continue to investigate the attack.

No arrests have been made following the incident.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “We received a report of a dangerous dog incident in Smallbone Recreation Ground in Britwell Road, Didcot, at around 10.35am on Wednesday (September 27).

“A dog attacked another dog and four people. Two men and a woman in their 50s and a man in his 20s were injured trying to separate them.

“Officers attended and seized the dog that attacked the other dog.”

“One of the men in his 50s and the woman required hospital treatment. “
