Families travelled back in time to enjoy rail history at Didcot Railway Centre’s most recent steam days last weekend.
Taking place on Saturday (October 21) and Sunday (October 22), those in attendance enjoyed seeing and riding steam trains on the centre’s demonstration lines, got hands on in the signalling centre learning how trains have been controlled through the ages and exploring the museum, which showcases trains dating from the Victorian era to the 1960s.
The centre’s final steam days of the year will be held on both days this coming weekend (October 28 and 29).
