A local mum whose son was diagnosed with epilepsy earlier this year has organised a spooky Halloween fundraiser in aid of those affected by the condition.
The 'fun filled family day' will take place at Blackbird Leys leisure centre this Thursday October 26 from 12-5pm and is set to include a DJ, bouncy castle and local businesses selling their products, among other attractions.
Mum Ella Patrick's son Oliver, who is six years old and who she describes as a 'happy, energetic and an amazing little boy', was diagnosed with tonic clonic epilepsy in May of this year.

Ms Patrick commented: "The determination and strength that he shows everyday to deal with his diagnosis makes me as a mum and his family immensely proud."
Free admission to the fundraising event is available for adults and children in 'scary costumes'.
There will be sweets, a Halloween disco, raffle and arts and crafts at the event.
All money raised will go towards the Epilepsy Society which endeavours to transform the lives of people with epilepsy through 'world-leading research, advocacy and care'.
A Just Giving page has been set up for those who would like to donate to the Epilepsy Society charity.
Ms Patrick added: "When a seizure occurs Oliver's body starts to stiffen, this causes jerking movements and then he becomes unconscious.
"He's an amazing little boy who is taking his diagnosis in his stride."
