A one-out-of-five star rating means that 'major improvement' is needed at the establishment.
It means that of South Oxfordshire's 282 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 144 (51 per cent) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating
The inspectors judged the restaurant with regard to hygienic food handling, cleanliness and the condition of facilities as well as management of food safety.
Five means hygiene standards are 'very good' and zero is 'urgent improvement' is required.
