An Oxford man has been arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated attack following a dispute over parking.
Officers were called to reports of an 'axe attack' earlier today (October 21) on Magdalen Road.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 54-year-old man from Oxford was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm, threats to kill, racially/religiously aggravated fear or provocation of violence by words and racially or religiously aggravated wounding or grievous bodily harm.
He remains in police custody at this time.
Muhammad Azam, 48, who owns Noor Supermarket, said he was outside the shop with delivery driver Malik when a man came up to them and started swearing.
“He came back with an axe and whacked the top of his head,” he said. Pictures showed a crimson line on his crown.
Some workmen nearby said they heard shouting and saw a delivery driver.
“Next I knew, he was holding some tissue,” one said.
His colleague told the Mail: “The police turned up and told us to get out of the hole.”
