A cyclist has been taken to an Oxford hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving an an Audi.
A black Audi and a cyclist, a man in his 40s, were involved in a crash on Oxford Street, near to the Clock Tower, in Newbury at around 7.30pm on Thursday (October 19).
The cyclist suffered serious injuries, including multiple fractured ribs, and remains at the John Radcliffe Hospital at this time.

Investigating officer PC Benjamin Taylor, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I’m appealing to anybody who was driving in the area at around 7.30pm and who may have dash-cam to please check this and contact Thames Valley Police if it has captured the incident.
“I would also ask anybody who witnessed this collision to get in touch with us."
