There has been an increase in the number of people treated for Covid in hospital, new figures show.
Oxford University Hospitals Trust cared for 35 patients with coronavirus in hospital as of Sunday, up from 27 on the same day the previous week.
The number of hospital patients with Covid-19 nationally has increased by 37% in the last four weeks and across England there were 4173 people in hospital with Covid as of October 15.
Figures also show that 34 new patients with Covid were admitted to hospital in Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the week to October 13.
Symptoms of Covid-19 are very similar to those of other illnesses, such as colds and flu and can include a high temperature, a new, continuous cough and shortness of breath.
