A former police officer is accused of supplying party drugs GHB and crystal meth.

Ben Simmons, 37, a former officer with West Midlands Police, is said to have supplied the drugs to another man – who cannot be named for legal reasons – in Banbury between July 2022 and August 2023.

At the magistrates’ court he also faced a charge of having articles of police uniform such as jackets, a stab vest and notebooks despite not being a serving officer.
