A carpenter bled to death at his Banbury home, a coroner’s court heard in Oxford this week.
Paul Buckley, 62, was found dead at his property in Newland Place by a neighbour on May 14 – two weeks short of his 63rd birthday.
A pathologist ruled he had died as a result of blood loss from self-inflicted wounds.

Senior coroner for Oxfordshire, Darren Salter, recorded a conclusion of suicide.
“[Mr] Buckley had a significant history of mental health problems, including recent suicidal ideation,” the coroner said.
