A new bar combined with a bottle shop and art gallery is showcasing the best Oxfordshire craft drink brands and artists all in the same place.
The Fainting Goat has opened in premises formerly occupied by Mrs Bumbles deli in Burford High Street.
It is run by Kathryn Tobin and Mark Ackred and their colleague Lisa Cleave of the Cotswolds Drinks Co whose signature drink is Toffee & Vodka.
Mr Ackred said: “We set up the company just before lockdown but then didn’t do much for obvious reasons.
“Then we launched our toffee vodka. We didn’t want to do yet another flavoured gin, we wanted something a bit more fun than that."
They sell the drink, which is handcafted in small batches in Black Bourton, at music festivals, ski shows and Christmas markets as well as online.
He said: "We set up Fainting Goat as a sub brand to push our brand as well as other local brands as much as possible. So we stock Wood Bros, Shandy Shack, Sky Wave from Bicester.
"We thought the art gallery would be like a cool mix and we will change the works often."
Mr Ackred said he hoped the bar will be able to stand out from the many gastropubs in the area.
"We didn’t want to be another Cotswolds pub," he said, "so it’s much more a bar. We want it to be cool, a bit of fun.
"And we’ve had really really positive feedback from every age group.
"At the moment we’re a pop up but we’re very much hoping to stay."
