Oxford Mail Camera Club members' photos show just how much people adore their beloved animals.
Each week club members are given a theme and post their pictures on the club's Facebook page.
This week's theme was pets.
Among the heart-warming shots were dogs running down the beach, scary cats, pets in fancy dress and even a trio of parrots in an ice-cream shop.
We have gathered together a collection that will feature in the print edition of the Oxford Mail as well as online.
The winning photo of the week will be revealed over the weekend.
Next week's theme will be Halloween.
