A motorist said to have been three times the limit has been charged and was among six people issued with speeding tickets in an Oxfordshire village today.
Speed enforcement officers in Kidlington clocked the driver doing 48mph in a 30mph area.
Thames Valley Police confirmed in a public statement that the motorist who was allegedly three times over the limit has been charged.

The drink drive limit in England, Wales and Scotland allows 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
Thames Valley Police has been contacted for more information on the person who has been charged, whose gender has not been revealed in the public police post.
