Wallingford Library is hosting two digital support drop in sessions to help local smartphone users become familiar with the NHS app.
Free of charge and open to all, the sessions will take place on Tuesday, October 31 and Tuesday, November 7, both from 10am to 12pm.
The sessions are run in conjunction with the Patient Participation Group of the Wallingford Medical Practice and will help build confidence in use of the app, which allows users to book an appointment with their GP, book a hospital appointment and make requests for prescriptions
Wallington town councillor Jacki Hoskins said on her Facebook page: “As more and more of our healthcare is likely to be available via digital means, this is for those who are digitally excluded/unconnected or wish to have help in getting to grips with the app.”
