A taxi driver has been assaulted in his car by three yobs who stole money in the assault in Blackbird Leys.
The driver, who has asked to be kept anonymous, told the Oxford Mail he was “badly beaten” with £170 being taken in the attack on Harebell Road at around 2.30am on Saturday (October 16).
After the passengers were unable to pay the fare, the taxi driver working for 001 Taxis pulled the car over.
Dashcam footage has been shared with the Oxford Mail by the taxi firm.

The footage from inside the car shows the driver being repeatedly hit by the attackers and continually threatened.
Thames Valley Police has confirmed it is investigating the incident and the force said that no arrests have been made at this stage.
During the incident, one of the attackers said: “Where is your f*****g money? Give me your money now or I will kill you."

The taxi driver responds by saying “take it” before pleading for help.
“Help me please, help me, please they hit me," the driver said during the attack.
Following the assault, an ambulance attended the taxi driver’s house at 6.15am to check on the driver.
The driver then took himself to John Radcliffe Hospital A&E department due to head injuries he suffered.
He is now waiting for an MRI scan after visiting his GP who has advised him to stay at home to recover and not return to work.

The driver said he has never experienced anything like this before.
He added: "Sometimes people don’t give money and I say ‘okay fine, don’t worry’. Money does not matter. My life is more important.”
The city centre taxi depot is open 24 hours and is in New Inn Yard opposite the town hall.
General manager of 001 Taxis, Amir Khan has said that the safety of their drivers and passengers is held in the “highest regard”.
He said: “The driver was attacked and they made off with his money.
“We have CCTV footage which has been passed onto the police and will be working with them to try and catch the people involved.
“The safety of all of our drivers and passengers is in the highest regard and we do everything we can to both mitigate risk, but also deal with any incidents should they occur.”
A police spokesman said: “Thames Valley Police received a report of an assault in Harebell Road at around 2.25am on Saturday (October 16).
“An investigation is ongoing and if anyone has any information please call 101 or make a report online quoting the reference 43230462276.”
