The installer of Bicester’s street piano has been contacted by a TV channel to encourage people to apply to their music show.
David Thompson, who restored the 1930s instrument and made it available to the public around two years ago, said he had been contacted by the production team for the Channel 4 programme The Piano.

“It would be great if someone from Bicester was chosen to go on the programme, which if you have not watched, you should do. It is truly inspirational.”
