Three Oxford pubs and bars have been given new food hygiene ratings after recent inspections.

And it's good news for all of them as they were all given the highest possible score.

O'Neill's in George Street has received a five-star rating following an inspection by the Food Standards Agency on October 11.

Another pub which is toasting its success is the Corner House in Hollow Way which got the maximum score after an inspection on October 5.

Meanwhile, the White Hart in St Andrew's Road in Headington also received top marks for its food hygiene after also being inspected on October 5.

A five-out-of-five star rating means that food hygiene is 'very good' at the establishment.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is responsible for rating hospitality venues across the country and gives them marks on a zero to five scale.

Five means hygiene standards are 'very good' and zero means 'urgent improvement' is required.
