Controversial plans to build 350 homes near Wallingford have been dismissed on appeal.
Michael Gove has refused planning permission for the proposed development of more than 350 homes on green belt land off Papist Way in Cholsey.
Hundreds of villagers had sent postcards to the levelling up secretary urging him to reject the appeal, and there were also written objections, petitions, and protests against the plans.

The final decision has been postponed several times over the last year.
The original development plans were rejected by South Oxfordshire District Council, the planning authority, but the decision was appealed by the developers last year.
Mr Gove was due to decide on this appeal in April, but his decision was pushed back to June, then August, and finally to October.
The developer, Leavesley, has been contacted for comment.
