A man has appeared in court accused of driving a Ford Focus dangerously in Thame.

Ross Laird, 44, pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving on Warren Mead, possession of a knife and affray when he appeared in the dock at Oxford Crown Court on Friday (October 13).

He is said to have committed the offences on August 8.

Judge Nigel Daly remanded Laird, of Pilmore Meadow, Chinnor, in custody to return to court for his trial on February 26 next year.

The case was heard after a linked case of Deborah McIntyre.

The 45-year-old, from Corby, Northants, pleaded not guilty to possession of a blade and assault by beating on August 8 in Thame.

McIntyre was granted conditional bail to return to court on November 3 for a further case management hearing.
