Thousands donned their running shoes for the Oxford Half Marathon 2023.

A record 13,000 people took part in the race today (Sunday, October 15) with some professional runners, and others running for charities like Cancer Research, Alzheimer’s Society and Oxfordshire Mind.

Runners and wheelchair participants set off from Balliol College in Broad Street at 9.30am, heading up St Giles before cutting back up the Parks Road and around the race village in University Parks.

They then travelled past Kellogg College and along Banbury Road to Summertown, before turning around just past Squitchey Lane.

The course then tok competitors up Marston Ferry Road towards Oxford City Football Club, and back down the same road into the city centre again.
