Multiple speeding tickets were handed out on a major A road as well as an arrest being made for drug driving.
Thames Valley Police’s Roads Policing team issued eight tickets for excess speed on the A41 in Bicester on Saturday (October 14).
An arrest for drug driving was also made on the A34 near Kidlington, followed by a further arrest in Oxford City Centre for two outstanding fail to appear court warrants.
According to release.org.uk failing to attend court means an individual could receive a fine, be sent to prison, or both.
If an individual does not attend court a warrant will be issued for their arrest and it is likely that the police will come looking for them at their home address, or stop them in the streets.
