Traffic measures and road closures have been put in place this weekend for the upcoming half marathon.
The county council has announced several traffic measures that came into force on Saturday morning and end at varying times tomorrow on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the county council said: “The race commences at 9.30am tomorrow and all road closures will be cleared during the afternoon with the start and finish areas cleared by 6pm.

“There will be road closures in force which means no access, no waiting and no loading or unloading. Also, there will be some roads without closures that will still prohibit loading and unloading.
“Parking suspensions will be in place too, including temporary removal of some permit parking, pay and display parking and disabled persons parking.”
Oxford Half Marathon road closures in full
Broad Street has been closed since 8am on Saturday, with the exception of Turl Street to Magdalen Street East. Restrictions will be removed at 6pm on Sunday.
From 6pm on Saturday evening, the entirety of Broad Street will be closed, along with the Holywell Street to South Parks Road section of Parks Road. Museums Road will be closed at the section between the junction with Parks Road and the car park entrance gate to Keble College car park.
These closures will remain in place until 6pm on Sunday.
No waiting and no loading or unloading restrictions will be in place from 6am on Sunday, with road closures from 8am, in Magdalen Street East and St Giles (southbound carriageway only) – with restrictions lifted at 11am.
These restrictions also apply to Banbury Road (St Giles to Marston Ferry Road), being lifted at 1.30pm, and Banbury Road (Marston Ferry Road to A40 roundabout) until 12pm.
Additionally, these restrictions are in place in Parks Road (South Parks Road to Banbury Road) until 2.30pm.
Further, until 1pm these restrictions apply to the full lengths of Marston Ferry Road and Cherwell Drive, Oxford Road (North of Cherwell Drive), the full lengths of Elsfield Road, Marston A40 westbound exit slip road, Marsh Lane (Elsfield Road to Cherwell Drive) and the full lengths of Elms Drive and Marston Ferry Cycle Path.
Until 1.30pm these restrictions apply to the full length of Belbroughton Road, Charlbury Road (Belbroughton Road to Linton Road), Linton Road (Charlbury Road to Chadlington Road).
The restrictions are also lifted at 1.30pm for the full lengths of Chadlington Road, Bardwell Road, Norham Road, Fyfield Road and Norham Gardens.
No waiting and no loading restrictions will also be in force on the full lengths of South Parks Road, St Cross Road, Jowett Walk, Mansfield Road, Catte Street, Radcliffe Square, Brasenose Lane and Longwall Street.
These restrictions will apply until 2.30pm.
At 2.30pm restrictions on Parks Road (between South Parks Road and Banbury Road) and High Street, Magdalen Bridge (The plain to Merton Street) will also end.
Turl Street (Broad Street to market Street – suspension of prohibition of motor vehicles will take place from 6pm Sunday to 6pm Monday, October 16, to facilitate entry from the High Street.) Further, from 6am Sunday until 2.30pm , the full length of Holywell Street will be closed.
Loading and unloading prohibitions will be in place on Jackson Road (between A40 Elsfield Way and Carlton Road) from 6am until 12pm.
Finally, waiting and loading prohibitions will be in place in South Parade (between Banbury Road and Stratfield Road), Oakthorpe Road (between Banbury Road and Stratfield Road), Thorncliffe Road (between Oakthorpe Place and Banbury Road) from 6am until 12pm on Sunday.
There will be temporary access for the event only on Sunday in Keble Road, from 8am to 6pm.
Marshalls will be used to assist traffic and runners generally, and specifically at road junctions. Some traffic lights may be deactivated for marshal control.
Vehicle access to property will be under strict control of marshals provided it is safe to do so.
The alternative traffic routes are (1) southbound via the A4158 Iffley Road, B4495 Donnington Bridge Road, A4144 Abingdon Road, and (2) Northbound (from Iffley Road and Cowley Road) via The Plain roundabout, A420 St Clements Street, Headington Rd & London Rd, A40 Northern Bypass, A4144 Woodstock Road, St Giles, Beaumont St, Worcester St, Hythe Bridge St, A420 Hollybush Row, Oxpens Rd, Thames St, St Aldates and vice versa.
Diversions will be marked via the Oxford ring road. Exemptions to closures are included for emergency services, event participants, support and safety vehicles and for emergency works to services in the roads. Residential access and deliveries will be managed by marshals.
