A man remains in hospital with multiple bleeds on the brain after he was attacked in his car more than 10 days ago.
Police have released new CCTV after the man, in his 70s, was in stationary traffic on the Vineyard in Abingdon when another man ran down the centre of the road.
Thames Valley Police said the man's car door was opened and he was assaulted.
The attack happened on Monday (October 2) at around 5.15pm.
The man was driving a blue Chevrolet Aveo when he was attacked.
Thames Valley Police said it would like to speak in relation to the assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Chris Burr of Abingdon CID, said: “We are releasing another CCTV image of who we believe to be the same individual and who may have vital information about the incident.
“We would like to appeal to anyone who recognises the individual in this image to please contact the force."
