A disused bus stop has become a spooky shelter in time for Halloween.
It is the 20th edition of the bus shelter on Station Road in South Leigh which has become a local attraction and featured on national TV.
Owned by the parish council of South Leigh & High Cogges, it was probably built in the 1950s for the school bus run but had not seen a bus in living memory.
By 2020, the shelter was a sad sight and a group of volunteers refurbished it.
During Covid it became a lending library and then a swap shop was added.
By Christmas 2020 decorating the shelter had become a regular community pastime.

Decorator Martin Spurrier makes and prefabricates the decorations at home which takes him 40 to 60 hours.
He then spends two days assembling them on site and adding fairy lights.
The bus shelter has been decorated on the theme Club Tropicana, Queen’s 70th Jubilee, Santa's Grotto, Easter, Valentine's, Chinese New Year of the Rabbit and in May it received a Royal makeover for the king's coronation.
He said: “Now it’s sort of a tourist attraction. When I’m working on it every single time several cars stop – they have either never seen it before or they drive this way to see it. Cycle groups come this way specially to see it."
