A drug dealer called Mr Friday found that inauspicious Friday 13th was his lucky day – as he walked from court with a suspended prison sentence.
Stephen Friday, 49, had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to being involved in supplying heroin and crack cocaine in Bicester last year.
Returning to Oxford Crown Court on Friday, October 13, a date the superstitious associate with ill-fate, the defendant, of Willow Drive, Bicester, was handed two years’ imprisonment suspended for a year-and-a-half by Recorder John Bate-Williams.
As part of the order, Friday must abide by a drug rehabilitation programme and a mental health treatment requirement.
