A man has appeared in court in connection with an alleged stabbing in Cowley.
James Nixon, 28, was not asked to enter his pleas to the charges, which at the magistrates’ court were given as wounding with intent, causing actual bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public place on September 2.
It followed an alleged knife attack on two men on Barns Road, outside Templars Square shopping centre, in the early hours.

At the time, police said two men – a teenager and a man in his 20s – were taken to hospital with what were described as knife wounds.
Barns Road and surrounding streets were closed until the early afternoon.
At Oxford Crown Court on Friday (October 13) Judge Nigel Daly fixed the trial to begin on March 11.
The case is expected to last at least four days.
Nixon, of Conisborough, Toothill, Swindon, standing in the dock wearing a white jumper, spoke only to confirm his name.
