A restaurant at the city’s Westgate Centre is celebrating raising £100,000 for Oxford Hospitals Charity.
Since 2018, customers at Mowgli Street Food have been donating a discretionary £1 with their bill - all of which supports charitable projects in Oxfordshire hospitals.
This month the grand total raised so far broke through the £100,000 milestone, reaching £100,400.

Donations from Mowgli have previously helped the charity fund a state-of-the-art 3D printer to help improve some cancer treatments at the Churchill Hospital.
And now the support has also funded four specialist mobile ventilators for young patients in the Oxford Children’s Hospital.
These are used for children needing day or night ventilation support, to help maintain their oxygen levels.
The mobile equipment allows them to get home quicker and spend more time with their families.
Naomi Stewart Hale, corporate partnership manager at Oxford Hospitals Charity, said: "It's exciting to see how these contributions have added up over time, to create such a significant total that’s really making a difference for patients in our hospitals.
“It’s also been an absolute pleasure getting to know the Mowgli Oxford team to see how dedicated they are - driving donations from customers, meeting our hospital teams and even taking part in our events.
“All of the charity team are so grateful for Mowgli’s long-term commitment to the cause and we’d like to say a great big thank you to all the staff and customers who have made this incredible milestone possible.”
Mowgli founder and chief executive, Nisha Katona MBE, added: “Mowgli thrives utterly on strong community, it is down to our remarkable teams that everlasting relationships are built with our local house charities.

“Oxford Hospitals Charity is an ardent member of the Mowgli family, and we look forward to continuing to support their life changing services, in and around Oxfordshire.”
Over the years staff at the Oxford branch have taken part in the charity’s annual fun run at Blenheim Palace, abseiled down the side of the JR and even have runners taking part in this weekend’s Oxford Half marathon.
The restaurant is known for its Indian dishes that are based on the founder’s family recipes.
The company was created with charitable giving as a central pillar to the business.

The restaurant business opened in 2014, and it has already raised more than £1.8m for both local and international charities.
Oxford Hospitals Charity raises funds to provide better facilities and fund innovative medical advances across the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and Oxford Children’s Hospital as well as the Horton General in Banbury.
