A plastic manufacturing company boss died from a bleed on the brain three weeks after falling while getting out of his car.
Oxford Coroner’s Court heard that John Gattley, 82, of Somerton, near Bicester, had suffered from headaches after suffering a fall on September 5.

He was admitted to the John Radcliffe Hospital but, sadly, died on September 27.
Senior coroner Darren Salter said the cause of death was given as acute subdural haematoma, a type of bleed on the brain, when he opened Mr Gattley’s inquest on Wednesday (October 11).
The case was adjourned for a full inquest on November 24.
