Theo Hopkins has written a letter suggesting that a change in the way his local Low Traffic Neighbourhood is run will interfere with students playing football in the streets.
There is talk that when the Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN) in the Divinity Road area is confirmed the wooden bollards will be replaced by an ANPR camera - and taxis will be given an exemption to pass through.

If this were to happen then the road environment will change from being a ‘home zone’ to just an impediment on a taxi driver’s journey, to be travelled at speed.
And if that happens I would think that I will never again see a bunch of lads having a kick about outside their student house.
