The rider of an electronic scrambler bike made an unsuccessful ‘get away’ as he tried to evade police yesterday evening (Tuesday, October 10).

Thames Valley Police said the male’s attempted escape was “slower than a tortoise” and his bike was seized in Marlowe Close, Banbury.

The rider was identified and dealt with by officers from Banbury Neighbourhood Policing Team.
