A famous journalist stormed out of a podcast with a YouTuber graduate of Oxford University.
Oxford's Peter Hitchens, columnist for The Mail on Sunday, had been invited onto Alex O’Connor’s Cosmic Skeptic philosophy podcast which aired this month.
But the conversation abruptly ended after he took a dislike to Mr O'Connor.
In a public post, Mr Hitchens said: “I’m having a cup of tea to recover from an attempted ‘interview’ with Cosmic Skeptic Alex O’Connor, having slogged across London by bike to be bored for almost an hour by unoriginal questions about drugs. Nothing else. Just drugs. Walked out.”

In response, Mr O’Connor said online: “Peter Hitchens just stormed out of our podcast recording, but not before telling me: ‘I don’t like you…I really don’t like you.
"I really have decided in the past hour I really do not like you at all.
‘I had no opinions of you before, and now I actively dislike you.’

“This during a 15-minute airing of grievances about me on his way to the door.”
Mr Hitchens shared the original invitation to the interview he received from Mr O’Connor.
This stated: “I am writing to invite you to appear as a guest on the podcast to discuss your work and areas of interest.
“In particular, issues pertaining to drug decriminalisation, whether we are experiencing a moral decline in society and the influence of secularism on this question, and the state of monarchy in the UK.”
