Controversial plans for almost 500 homes in Kidlington have received the green light.
Cherwell district councillors voted to approve 370 homes off Bicester Road, to the east of the village, and 118 homes off Oxford Road, further south towards Kidlington Roundabout.
The decision was made at a planning committee meeting on Thursday, October 5.

The 370-home application had been submitted by Barwood Development Securities and the trustees of The Philip King Homes Trust.
It had received objections from Gosford and Water Eaton Parish Council as well as Kidlington Parish Council.
The 118-home plan had been made by developers Manor Oak Homes, G B Bishop-Fruedling & C A Parsons.
Fears had been raised before the decision that the homes could erase the final gap between the village and Oxford.
