Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor has revealed an exciting new job away from her role on screen but luckily for fans, she won't be far from The Cobbles.
The new job has seen the actress, who first joined the Manchester-based soap all the way back in 1986, become a tour guide for the show's iconic set.
Of the news, she told fans: “It is the best day ever. Isn’t it gorgeous?
“I’ve been on the street forever and ever and ever and ever. 1986, I started, and I married Kevin, and now I’m married to Tim. I’ve got my cross to bear.”

Of the tours, the programme's website boasts: “This special tour, with Sally Dynevor herself leading the charge, was a love letter to the fans and a testament to the enduring power of the show.
“As the day came to a close, fans left with their heads filled with memories, hearts full of gratitude, and cameras packed with unforgettable moments.”
The show is currently filmed in Salford and has been there since 2018 when the old Quay Street studio in Manchester closed.
