Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been taking photos for their latest theme ‘corners’.
There were lots of interesting pictures posted on the club’s Facebook page, including some well-known locations.
There were quite a few worthy winners but in the end we chose Bryan Robertson’s stunning shot for our photo of the week. He took it in 2005.

Mr Robertson said: “Here a Virgin West Coast Pendolino takes the tight reverse curve corners at 100mph through Wolverton Station.
“The maximum allowed elevation in the UK is required so the higher rail is six inches above the lower one.
“The Pendolino then tilts the equivalent of another three inches to get maximum speed through the corner, a bit like on a car racing circuit. Makes for interesting photographs when you use a bit of zoom.”
The next theme is ‘fashion.’
