An uninsured Ford Fiesta was seized by a police taskforce in Oxfordshire yesterday evening (Wednesday, October 4).
The red hatchback was being driven on the A420 near Faringdon when it was stopped by Thames Valley Police’s Rural Crime Taskforce.
Two police constables were involved in the operation and seized the vehicle.

That same evening officers from the taskforce stopped an uninsured vehicle near Garsington and dealt with a male for driving without insurance.
The taskforce was launched in March 2022 to tackle serious and organised rural crime and support rural communities.
It claims to have seized over 200 motor vehicles in under two years, with some stolen, some used in crime and others driven without insurance or a licence.
