A fire has broken out at an Oxfordshire pub which forced the business to temporarily close down.
Three fire engines were called to the Red Lion pub in Kidlington earlier today (October 4).
The pub in Oxford Road was closed for around an hour as a result of the blaze.
A spokeswoman for the pub said the business was expected to be back to normal operations on Thursday.
It had initially been expected that the pub would be closed for multiple days.
She also thanked the pub's customers for their patience during this incident.

The pub posted in a public statement at the time of the closure: "Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, our kitchen will be closed for a few days.
"However, we are still open for drinks. Sorry for the inconvenience."
The pub is run under the chain company Ember Inns which has described the incident as "very minor".
A spokeswoman for the chain said: "We can confirm that our operations were interrupted for around an hour as a result of an incident in our kitchen earlier today, but following safety checks we were able to reopen our bar area shortly after.
"We expect the kitchen to be back in operation as usual tomorrow, but thank guests for their understanding and for the support received from the emergency services who attended the incident.”
