A man remains in hospital with a fractured nose and multiple bleeds on the brain after he was attacked in his car.
The man, in his 70s, was in stationary traffic on the Vineyard in Abingdon when another man ran down the centre of the road.
Thames Valley Police said the man's car door was opened and he was assaulted.
The attack happened on Monday (October 2) at around 5.15pm.

The man was driving a blue Chevrolet Aveo when he was attacked.
Thames Valley Police is releasing CCTV images of an individual that officers would like to speak in relation to the assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Chris Burr of Abingdon CID, said: “We would like to appeal to anyone who recognises the individual in this image to please get in touch as they may have vital information about the incident.”
