A pharmacist died in a crash during a family holiday to Scotland, a coroner’s court heard.
Stephen Painter, 69, from Shipton-under-Wychwood, was said to have been on a family trip to Scotland last month when he was involved in a crash on the A93 near Perth.
A paramedic confirmed his death at 12.38pm on September 13. At a post-mortem, a pathologist had given his cause of death as chest injuries.
Mr Painter’s inquest was opened by the senior coroner, Darren Salter, on Tuesday (October 3). He adjourned the case for the full inquest on March 12 next year.
